Update: Video recordings available for Part IPart II, and Part III

The I+E 101 series is designed to educate and encourage students and postdocs to develop their interests in innovation and entrepreneurship at UC Santa Barbara. By providing inspiration from alumni, access to relevant campus resources, and expertise from a variety of distinguished professionals, this three-part series centers around professional development and innovation while offering guidance to aspiring and ambitious entrepreneurs.

Our campus community has a host of resources – from mentors to workspaces – that can be leveraged for success in the innovation and entrepreneurship space.  I+E 101 sheds some much needed light on concepts that can seem mysterious and remote. It's common knowledge by now that this space is arduous, but we know that our innovators are up to the task! The best way to overcome these obstacles is to wisely use your support system. I+E 101 is an introduction to the UCSB support system.

Part I of the series will include an alumni panel of recently-graduated UCSB innovators sharing their experiences with entrepreneurship. In Part II, the leaders of our Partner Programs on campus will provide an overview of their I+E resources.  Part III will be a panel of diverse innovators and entrepreneurs sharing their stories of success from the crossroads of intersectionality.
