UCSB Innovation + Entrepreneurship Overview

In January 2017, UC Santa Barbara Innovation + Entrepreneurship was initially launched as SEED-SB, a coordinated campus-wide program designed to stimulate new, diverse, and lasting economic development opportunities. Building on UCSB's existing strengths in creating successful faculty and student entrepreneurial endeavors in every market from the environment to advanced materials, UCSB I+E will continue to launch successful and lasting businesses in the local and state economy.  By leveraging AB2664 funds, UCSB I+E has been able to expand physical infrastructure, educational programming, technology translation, and startup incubation and acceleration in the campus community.
