UCSB spinoff Nexus Photonics has been acquired by IonQ. In their second quarter update, IonQ notes the acquisition as a highlight: "The successful close of our SkyWater and Nexus acquisitions extends IonQ’s full-stack quantum platform and merchant supplier leadership to the U.S. and allied ecosystem".
